Spa Activities & Facilities



The Spa is comprised of seven treatment rooms (including an outdoor cabana for riverside massages), a water therapy suite with a Vichy shower, hydrotherapy tub, Scotch hose and steam chamber for Swedana, a gym, a pool, a Finnish Sauna, a Jacuzzi and a steam room.  A sunlit yoga/exercise studio is host to a variety of instructor led group activities and private classes.  

Innovative fitness & exercise classes in our private gym follow the most current trends.  You may opt to workout independently, with a certified personal trainer, or in a group environment.  All classes accommodate mixed fitness levels and require no previous experience.

The stream side outdoor deck is located adjacent to the pool.  It’s a favorite front-row seat for basking in the sun and practicing idleness while taking in the spectacular Catskill scenery.

Outdoor activities are the backbone of our spa fitness program. Biking, hiking, Nordic walking, and nature walks --  as well as cross-country skiing and snow-shoeing in the winter -- provide various levels of physical activity.  Whether you choose a casual stroll or a strenuous uphill climb, these outdoor activities are deeply enjoyable and easy to continue at home.  They revitalize your mind, increase your self-confidence and bring you out into our spectacular outdoors.

On our very private 40-acre island, you’ll find several kilometers of groomed walking trails with benches strategically placed in secluded, scenic spots.  It’s an ideal setting for a both a cross-country run and a romantic stroll.
